Silky Soft Shampoo
While most ingredients are safe emollients and conditioners, the presence of Methylisothiazolinone (MIT) is a significant concern. Although currently permitted in rinse-off products at very low concentrations in the EU, MIT is a potent skin sensitizer. The SCCS has stated that there is no safe level for induction of contact allergy. This product may cause contact dermatitis in sensitive individuals. Furthermore, Cetrimonium Chloride is restricted by Annex III and must remain within safety limits.
