Bioderma Nodé DS+ is a well-formulated medicated shampoo designed for severe dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. Its primary actives—Piroctone Olamine, Salicylic Acid, and Zinc Gluconate—are all highly effective and safe within the regulatory limits set by the EU CosIng (Annex III). The formula uses a balance of stronger cleansers (SLES) and mild surfactants (Sodium Cocoamphoacetate) to ensure clinical efficacy while minimizing scalp irritation. It includes several skin-identical sugars (Mannitol, Xylitol) and seaweed extract to mitigate the dryness often associated with anti-dandruff treatments. There are no Tier 3, 4, or 5 ingredients, making it an excellent choice for targeted scalp treatment. Note: Due to Salicylic Acid, it should not be used for children under 3 years of age.
